The all new Mannysub 7.5mm custom spear shafts are subperbly finished. The attention to detail needs to be seen to be believed.
These are among the few shafts in the market that are factory certified for straightness.
A perfectly straight shaft will greatly improve the accuracy of the speargun.
The new floppers are as tough as they come. Made from hardened stainless steel, 83mm long, 1.3 mm thick with a 2.4 mm pin welded on each end to ensure greater reliability, these floppers are tuned and ready to go.
This innovative single flopper 7.5 mm 17-4PH hardened spring stainless shaft also features three unique mini shark fins. The mini shark fins are only 3.5 mm high and will work on any gun with closed or open muzzles.
Welded shark fins deliver ultimate strength to the shaft. Unlike traditional cutout notches, they don’t cause a weak spot. This makes the shaft less likely to break and bend at the notches when fighting big fish.
The back shark fin is welded further back than conventional shafts, giving an extra 5 cm of rubber stretch. Thanks to the position of the last shark fin, two bridles can be overlapped on top of one another on the same shark fin.
This system yields 5 cm extra stretch for the main rubber and 15 cm extra for the second rubber, a total of 20 cm extra rubber stretch when using a double-rubber gun. This significantly increases the velocity and range of the speargun.
The back shark fin comes with a pre-drilled hole as an alternative place for connecting the shooting line. This option makes it suitable for all spearguns with enclosed tracks.
The first shark fin is located in the middle of the shaft, 60 cm from the back. The second shark fin is positioned in the middle between the first and last shark fin. The three mini shark fins make loading a lot easier, especially on roller spearguns and normal spearguns, while at the same time helping to depower the roller system when shooting smaller fish near the bottom. This increases the versatility of the spear gun.
The hardened stainless steel used in the manufacture of these spears has excellent corrosion resistance – the shafts do not rust.
These shafts will suit all European/South African handles
