The Quest 8 Person Cabin Tent is great family tent that can be split into 2 rooms with loads of internal room and storage.
This tent has been designed with an oversized doors and windows that ensure easy access and better ventilation. It features a unique quick setup system that makes setting up and packing down your campsite simpler and easier. This tent is built to keep the weather out, so it comes with welded corners and inverted seams to help prevent water coming into the tent. It also comes with a large side awning that can be put up with the included poles for more shade which makes a great place to spend the day.
The straight wall design uses steel uprights to give near vertical walls and improved strength in the wind compared to traditional tents. Fibreglass framing is used through the roof to ensure adequate tension is kept at all times will still giving some “flex” that helps it fend off any bad weather. As there is very little curvature in the roof frame the chances of breaking fibreglass poles are also greatly reduced which is a major problem in traditional tents. We use 2 to 1 guy ropes to further add extra stability to the tent in windy conditions.
When it comes to keeping you dry, we use a multi pass PU coating on the underside of the rainfly, combined that with the tight weave of the base fabric and finally on the face of the fabric a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) to ensure water beads off. We then team this up by seam sealing the seams to ensure no water leakage through these as well.
